FIRE PROTECTION

Fire safety assistant instruction according to DGUV – 205-023 In general, in all companies with one or more employees, operational fire safety must be guaranteed by the appointment of a fire safety assistant. This results from the legal basis of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG), the accident prevention regulation and the technical rules for workplaces (ASR). What are the legal bases? The legal obligation for companies to provide fire protection assistants results from § 10 ArbSchG, DGUV regulation 1 and Section 6.2 of the new ASR A2.2 ("measures against fires"). Fire protection assistants should be informed about the basics of fire protection and trained in the use of fire extinguishing equipment. They must also be instructed on the correct behavior in the event of a fire. It is recommended to also integrate practical exercises (e.g. extinguishing exercises) into the training, so that experience with the devices is already available for the application and the fear of contact is minimized. According to DGUV - 205-023, we recommend repeating the training of the fire protection assistants at intervals of 2 years. We carry out qualified fire safety instructions both in-house and on our own premises. You will receive legally compliant training for your employees and increase their ability to act with confidence. Dates and costs are available on request. To do this, please use the contact form.
